There have been several instances of Eye of Horus, Eye of Ra symbolism recently, so this post includes the explanations on Eye of Horus and Ra and the recent examples at the end. This post is largely a collation of the information in my other posts where I have mentioend Eye of Ra and Horus and the third eye.
The origin of the Eye of Horus may be found in the myth of Set and Osiris. The ancient Egyptians believed that Osiris was the king of Egypt and that his brother, Set, desired his throne. Through trickery, Set succeeded in murdering his brother and became the new king. Osiris’ wife Isis, however, managed to bring her husband back to life temporarily through magic and became pregnant with Horus.
Osiris went on to become the god of the Underworld and Isis raised Horus on her own. When Horus reached adulthood, he sought to avenge the death of his father. Horus fought Set in a series of battles, and eventually vanquished his uncle. During these struggles, however, he lost one of his eyes. According to one version of the myth, Set had ripped out Horus’ eye, tore it up into six parts and threw it away. In another version, it was Horus himself who gouged his eye out, as a sacrifice to bring his father back from the dead. In any case, Horus’ lost eye was magically restored by either by Hathor (often regarded to be the consort of Horus), or by Thoth, the god of wisdom. The Eye of Ra is often confused with the Eye of Horus. However, the two are quite distinct.
The eye of Ra represents the right eye, and the eye of Horus the left eye. Ra is the sun god, his power is quite close to the almighty gods of the monotheistic religions. In this sense, his power of vision is thus unlimited, his eye is called “the eye that sees everything”. ie the all seeing eye is the eye of Ra. [26]
This is not the case with Horus, whose powers are limited and whose protection is mostly linked to physical integrity. It is a protective symbol.
The eye of Horus is a strong protective symbol, used for thousands of years by the Egyptians. It is associated with vision (especially the power of vision between the afterlife and the world of the living), the protection of physical integrity and health. Worn as an amulet around the neck, it protects the wearer.
The Eye of Ra represents the Sun, is shown in red and a whole iris whilst the Eye of Horus represents the Moon and is shown as blue often with a moon symbol in the iris.
Furthermore the eye of Horus came to represent not only fractions but senses. [25]
It should be noted that the Eye of Horus symbol corresponds to the location of the Third Eye, represented by the sixth chakra. The sixth chakra represents the seat of intuition and clairvoyance (including the ability to “see” things usually hidden). [27]
Third Eye – Seeing Spiritually
When someone says that they “see” Satan or a demon, they do not mean with their two eyes that most of us use for seeing things in everyday life.
To distinguish this, I will use “see2” to mean normal 2 eyed sight, and “see3” seeing with your third eye.

- I experience see3 like a vision. So I could be sitting at home in my chair and suddenly I see3 someone in the occult or that I am praying for in their home or out and about doing something. To me I still see2 what is physically around me in my own home, but I also very clearly see3 all that is around this other person I am seeing. I can hear them talking. I can reach out and touch them and feel them as though we were in the same room together.
- I can see3 beings or people that spiritually appear in my home. So at times, Military Generals or Protectors appear to me. For example, when the Wolf Protector branch wanted to have a meeting with me, I was sleeping and suddenly felt someone grab my foot. I opened my eyes to find one of the commanders standing over me. I could see3 her clear as day as though she was there. She then said, “Come with me, we are having a round table.” I did not leave my bed. But suddenly, I saw3 I was in a room someplace I did not know. I saw clearly all the people present. I knew their names and faces. We sat around the table and had a conference and discussed issues that were going on and the solution to those issues. When the meeting was done, the vision just stopped and I was in my bed still.
- I share visions with others. I saw3 one of the underground individuals still in the occult one time in vision sitting on his bed. Then we both saw a demonic spirit. I rebuked the spirit. He called me as I was having the vision and told me to leave his room and let his demon go. He got mad and on the phone he started saying to me, “You dirty little black witch, you let my demon go right now.” He saw3 me rebuke the spirit in my head and then started yelling at me in the physical realm.
- It’s like seeing with two sets of eyes at the same time and I can distinguish what I am seeing with my see2 eyes and what I am seeing with my see3 eyes. It’s like knowing you have two different body parts and you know when you use that body part. lluminati Players and the Battlefield – Earth [9w]
The colours red and blue are two colours used in base programming for Monarch mind control , Mk Ultra. The white represents the corpus callosum which should transmit messages between the hemispheres.
